One of the most remarkable visual aspects of this building is the 13° lean of the front walls. But, for Gibson O’Connor, the most difficult part of the project was being stood down for a month because of bad weather. Rolling out 40m iron sheets on the roof to maximise efficiency and minimise roof joints was another challenge.
However, despite these time-consuming factors, Gibson O’Connor finished Bendon’s new international headquarters on time and on budget.
